It’s hot outside. It’s the perfect day for some lemonade. It’s even a better day to sell lemonade. That’s how a 6-year-old boy from Siouxland, Iowa made hundreds of dollars over the weekend, and it’s all for a good cause. It’s to help a local animal shelter.

Jackson Trusty raised over $300 with his lemonade stand, with all sales going to the Sioux City Animal Adoption.

He says he always wanted to help animals however he could but wasn’t sure how to go about it. The idea of opening a lemonade stand came after seeing a video of kids selling lemonade. The rest, as they say, is history.

All his neighbors showed up to lend their support, and as word got around, even a biker gang and jeep club came to help him in his endeavor.

Jackson is so excited that he plans to have more lemonade stands soon, so watch out for this little entrepreneur with a heart of gold.

He’s doing his part in changing the world, one cup of lemonade at a time.
