79-year-old Ohio man shoots son for refusing to stop playing his guitar

79-year-old Fred Hensley Sr. shot his 50-year-old son Fred Hensley Jr. after becoming extremely annoyed over the younger man’s guitar playing.

Hensley Sr. said he was aiming for the guitar when he accidentally shot Hensley Jr. in the stomach.

Authorities responded to a dispatch call of a shooting at a residence in Blue Ash, Ohio.

While cops were heading to the incident scene, the father was attacked by the son despite having sustained a gunshot wound.

Hensley Sr. was charged with domestic violence and felonious assault and held on a $60,000 bond.

Hensley Sr. was driven to the hospital with facial wounds and later booked at Hamilton County Justice Center. The son was also hospitalized with a gunshot wound in his ribcage area.

His current condition has not been reported, but it appears the injury was not life-threatening.
