
Veteran actor Alec Baldwin accidentally killed his director of photography, Halyna Hutchins, with a prop gun on the set of his latest film shooting outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The director of the Western film, Joel Souza, was also shot.
42-year-old Hutchins was airlifted to nearby University of New Mexico Hospital by was pronounced dead on arrival, according to Santa Fe Sheriff’s County officials/
48-year-old Souza was rushed by ambulance to Christus St. Vincent Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment for injuries.

Deputies responded about 2 p.m. to the movie set at the Bonanza Creek Ranch after 911 calls came in of a person being shot on set, sheriff’s spokesman Juan Rios said.
He said detectives were investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged.
