Gawking shoppers at a Nigerian flea market couldn’t help but marvel at the strange-looking five-horned ram for sale as the Muslim-majority country prepared for the Islamic holiday, Eid al-Adha.

Interior designer Usman Abdulrahman said, “The ram has five horns on its head; there are five letters in Allah – ALLAH.”

“God is using this five-horned ram to magnify himself, and the timing is perfect, as we celebrate.” said estate agent Wasiu Salaudeen.

Eid al-Adha is in celebration of the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his only son Ismael (Isaac) as an act of humility and obedience to Allah. Allah told Ibrahim to sacrifice a ram instead.

The end of the Ramadan season is celebrated with Eid al-Adha.
