A woman from southeast Georgia was taken into custody on animal cruelty charges after 100 dogs and cats and several living animals in poor health were found on her property, investigators say

Terri Lynn Taylor was arrested by Bacon County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with two counts of animal cruelty.

Guardians of Rescue are now caring for the surviving animals, according to the sheriff’s office.

According to the New York-based animal welfare group, twelve animals needed emergency veterinary care, while others have been placed in foster care.
