Lou, a 3-year-old black and tan coonhound belonging to Paige Olsen from Oregon, officially earned a Guinness Book of World Record’s entry for longest ears on a living dog.
Each of the dog’s ears measures an astounding 12.38 inches long.
Olsen told news agencies that she knew her dog’s ears were long but only decided to measure them while sheltering at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Olsen added that while Lou’s ears are long, they don’t require much more cleaning than an average dog.
However, during the winter, she does wrap them in an ear-warmer to keep them from dragging in the snow.
