Actor Peter Scolari, who shot to fame in the 80s sitcom ‘Bosom Buddies’ with Tom Hanks, has passed. He was 66 years old.
“He was an extraordinarily wonderful actor,” said his manager, Ellen Sanitsky, after she confirmed his death.
Scolari’s cause of death was cancer after a courageous two-year battle.
The actor led a 43-year show business career that featured his Emmy-nominated role on “Newhard” and his role as Lena Dunham’s father on HBO’s “Girls.”
