A new study shows that women feel more secure and safer when they sleep next to dogs more than human partners.

The Journal of the International Society of Anthrozoology published a recent study that surveyed 962 adult women.

Women who slept next to their pet dogs woke up less during the night, the study concluded.

The women who slept next to cats did not get the same result.

Cats were found to be equally if not more disruptive than a human partner.

The majority of the people got more rest when there was a dog in the bedroom than when there wasn’t.
