A husky abandoned along a Horizon City road in a heartbreaking viral video has found a new family — and now there’s been an arrest.

Luis Antonio Campos 68-years-old was arrested for animal cruelty by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, with his bond set at $5,000.

Officials said another suspect is expected to be arrested soon, the El Paso Times reported.

The husky, meanwhile, has been adopted by a new family and named ‘Nanook,’ after a dog from the movie, “The Lost Boys.”, according to KVIA NEWS.

Maddie Clappsaddle, whose family adopted the husky, said, “I feel very happy and excited. When I saw the video, and I saw him run after the car, it made my heart feel broken.”

“The only reason it got so much attention is that someone videotaped it; we see this on an everyday basis,” said Barbara Valencia of the Huckleberry Hound Rescue in El Paso, which helped rescue the dog.
